Davis Daumler

Davis Daumler is a sociologist who studies wealth, poverty, and families—in order to understand the process by which societies become economically and racially stratified. His research advances our understanding of how the cumulative effects of inequality affect individuals across the life-course, with an emphasis on the shifting political and historical dynamics of family wealth.

Daumler is a postdoctoral fellow in the Stone Program in Wealth Distribution, Inequality, and Social Policy, at the Harvard Kennedy School. He received his PhD in sociology from the University of Michigan.
