Introducing the 2025–2027 Cohort of Harvard Bell Postdoctoral Fellows!

We are thrilled to announce that after a competitive application process, Tom Lindman and Jung Hyun Kim have been selected and will be joining our community this coming fall as David E. Bell Postdoctoral Fellows.

Tom Lindman is a PhD candidate at the University of Washington Daniel J. Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. His research focuses on understanding how U.S. social safety net programs interact with employment and affect family well-being. As a Bell Fellow, Tom will aim to deepen his focus on population health by studying how the impact of paid family leave policies on parents and children varies with employment characteristics.

Jung Hyun Kim earned her PhD in social sciences from the University of Luxembourg. Jung Hyun is a health economist and social epidemiologist whose research uses methods from various disciplines to understand the link between the labor market and health. As a Bell Fellow, Jung Hyun will examine which employer-induced mechanisms in minimum wage policy might have health implications and identify instruments to facilitate job access for older adults.
