Maria Glymour is chair and professor in the department of epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health, and professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the UCSF School of Medicine. Her research focuses on how social factors experienced across the life course—from infancy to adulthood—influence cognitive function, dementia, stroke, and other health outcomes in old age.
