Maria Glymour is a professor in the department of epidemiology and biostatistics at the UCSF School of Medicine; director, UCSF PhD program in epidemiology and translational science; and adjunct professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on how social factors experienced across the life course—from infancy to adulthood—influence cognitive function, dementia, stroke, and other health outcomes in old age.
